The Silent No More Awareness campaign is an effort to make women's voices heard - women who regret their abortion and who need to know that there is support available.
They are not alone! In Canada there are well over 2.5 million women who have experienced abortion. But this experience necessarily involves men and other loved ones. Our society needs to acknowlege the grieving and loss that can be felt after abortion. Both sides of the abortion debate admit that abortion is a tragedy. Why then is the tragedy not acknowledged? Why do so many women and their families suffer in silence?
